Increasing Mpg Using Fuel Saving Additives By GARKO What can you do if you wanted to get your car burning the gasoline as cleanly as possible, leaving less soot and deposits in the combustion chamber and on the valves, cleaning the injection system, or in cars at least 20 year old the carburetor, while not hurting emissions systems, not voiding your warranty, and, in the end, getting you lower gasoline usage and greater longevity?
In recent tests it has been concluded that aromatic petroleum distillates, alcohol (methyl alcohol), ether, acetone, and toluene all accomplish all of these functions. But don't go crazy with it. If put in too much of any of these you can actually worsen all those things rather than bettering them. The most optimum found that was simplest to use in order to attain and maintain lower gasoline usage was 1-2 ounces of acetone in a full 10 gallon tank
Pure acetone actually prevents vaporization rather than adding something to the fuel itself. So acetone is not truthfully fuel. It is successful - very small ratios from about 1/4 of 1% to 1/3 of 1%. MPG seems to drop off if you use too much. In addition to aiding Fuel Economy, Acetone cuts pollution dramatically and helps engine longevity. The optimum amount is approximately the same as 2 to 3 oz. per 10 gallons and this will optimize MPG about 25-percent or more. Your MPG will improve and car's performance too. You will get a more efficient running engine to last longer by attaining better vaporization and MPG . That tiny bit of Acetone reduce the amount of unburned gasoline to nearly nothing.
One important note - Acetone is PAINT REMOVER so please use a small stainless steel measuring cup and long funnel to protect your paint. Do not buy Acetone from drug stores. Their brands are diluted being sold out there because they has been tainted with impurities . Good Acetone has that strong Acetone odor. Canadian
acetone is usually high quality. Go to a good paint supplies store . The other thing to realize is that the oil companies doesn't want you to know how to save on gasoline and you may still void the warranty as they sometimes check for gasoline additives like acetone.
Also, one last note, since adding acetone makes your system more efficient and enables it to burn gas cleaner it is better for the environment - less emmissions.
Many other solutions are just plain contradictory or wrong... I found several articles that advise don't use your airconditioner which is great if you live in Florida or it is 100 degrees in the city! Then I found one article that says to keep the vehicle's windows open for city driving but to use the AC when you are on the highways because if you have the windows open while driving at high speeds causes drag which lessens gasoline mileage.
Who's right? Who's wrong? Who cares? Does it reduce gasoline consumption? No, probably not! The most real solution to reduce your gasoline consumption, with gasoline prices in the $3-4.50 range up and down over the last year or so is to sever your umbilical cord... the one that chains you to the gasoline pump and shed your chains of slavery to the oil companies and....
Convert to a hydrogen engine! What if you never needed to buy another gallon of gasoline again? Convert your gasoline engine to hydrogen. If you do a partial (hybrid) conversion then you can expect to see improved fuel economy of up to 30% maybe more. If you do this and also add acetone to your gas tank (which will save you another 25% or so) then you will have improved your fuel economy by a combined 50%! Put in about 2-3 ounces of acetone per 10 gallons of gasoline and the gasoline will vaporize less easily and you reduce your gasoline consumption by 25% or more. If you do a full gas to hydrogen conversion then you will have pumped your last gallon of gasoline for the rest of your life. It is really quite easy, costs next to nothing, doesn't pollute the environment and you will have the reward of knowing that you are conserving resources instead of consuming more than your fair share. GARKO shows you how to save up to 35% or more at the gas pump and that you can save on fuel consumption by making your car run on waterGARKO is a Activist, consumer advocate, entrepreneur and activist,For a list of current gasoline prices in your neighborhood email garko@startlingdiscoveries.info
