What's The Problem With Ethanol For Gasoline Substitute?? Plenty!

I guess we have all been told that engine emissions of carbon from gasoline powered vehicle engines add to global warming (while China is experiencing its coldest Winter ever. so much for global warming) so we have to locate other alternatives for gasoline because of that.
So our scientists collect up everything in sight and discover if we can make a fuel alternative out of it. In the case of ethanol, that comes from corn. Cool! Fabulous! We can operate our vehicle engines on corn! There's tons of the crapright?
Well yes and no!. There is plenty to feed the population today. And that is impressive since everything in the supermarket now has corn syrup in it (which was something that was hardly in our diets at all prior to Coca Cola opting to put it into Coke!)
You see here is the wisdom that the world's decision makers are historically being short on. what are the consequences if the farmers need to grow corn for fuel instead of personal consumption? Then how would we get the corn that shows up on our kitchen table? Would have to be from other places.
Cool! That was easy! Uh. no, not so quick! Why? Because to make the land available for the agriculture, the farmers need to plow up grasslands and wipe out whole forests. This results in carbon dioxide in much higher volume. Recent research has demonstrated that, over 30 years or so, twice
the amount of carbon dioxide would be put into the environment from swithing to ethanol than from using gasoline as we do currently!
Thing is, that is not the only liability with ethanol. There are a host of problems with regards to using corn as a gasoline substitute.
Well, so much for that idea! Now what do we do?
Truth is that it is just too easy which is what prompts things like studies on ethanol. Somehow, somewhere, someway, the oil industry have to inflow billions in profits or else they won't accept the answer which is the most obvious one of all. And this refuting of the real answer and complication of the matter with all sorts of red herrings and straw men is what makes me suspect of the whole global warming story. Because the same people are behind both campaigns.
The real handling is that solutions do exist for converting water to hydrogen in a fuel system that can operate your car. This equates to that you would never have to buy even one more gallon of gas ever again, you would benefit with a smoother performing car and you would have emissions from your car which is cleanerthan the air that we breathe right now.
But there is no profit for the oil corporations in manufacturing a closed system that cycles water. So it is our responsibilitys to bypass them and do It anyway. People that is called a revolution.
